Attractions: Leigong Mountain Reserve

Hotel: Overnight in Kaili

Drive 2 hours to Leigong Mountain Reserve and walk 30 minutes to visit Miao Village, built on top of rice terraces. After lunch we start a 3 hour hike through virgin forest. Terraces are a traditional farming landscape that makes farming and irrigation easier by dividing the mountain slopes into layers of terraces and creates a uniquely beautiful landscape. Drive 1.5 hours back to Kaili in the afternoon.
