Travel around Chengdu, Pay a visit to the local People Park and Jinli Old Street. This morning you will make a stirring visit to Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. Here is the world famous scientific research and breeding base, public education base and educational tourism base. The base covers an area of 1000 mu. As the "Giant Panda ex situ Ecological Protection Demonstration Project", it is famous for protecting and breeding endangered wild animals unique to China such as giant pandas and red pandas.
Leaving the panda center, you will be taken to Renmin Park. You can hanging around, chat with local people as you like, these people are very friendly, you can learn how to play chess frome them, which hot-pot is the most delicious one.
You will then go to visit Wuhou Temple. Surrounded by old cypresses and classical red walls, the temple creates an atmosphere of nostalgia. When stepping into the temple, you get the chance to immerse yourself into a sea of ancient profound culture and history of the legendary Three Kingdoms. Next is an impressive trip to the famous Jinli Old Street. Stepping into the green stone that has been trampled by pedestrians as smooth as a mirror, the old streets, mansions, mansions, residential houses, inns, shops, Waniantai come into view, the green tiles and gray walls are scattered, and the cornice is raised high, making people feel as if time and space are flowing backward, and truly feel the ancient simple Han style and the charm of Ming and Qing dynasties.
At the end, your guide will escort you to your hotel.
Recommended Optional Evening Activities: 1) enjoy a delicious dinner of Sichuan cuisine (or hotpot) at a local restaurant; 2) watch a wonderful performance of Sichuan Opera which includes folk opera, face changing, fire spitting, rolling lights, and other delightful entertainment (usually performs during 20:00~21:30).

After breakfast, your guide and driver will pick you at your hotel, then take a visit a hidden spiritual Buddhist temple in hustling downtown Chengdu, Wenshu Temple, originally named Xinxiang, was built from 605 to 617 AD. It is the head of the four major Zen forests in the upper and lower reaches of the Yangtze River in China, and is a key cultural relic protection unit in Sichuan Province. Wenshu Courtyard went through Tang, five dynasties, Song, Yuan and Ming dynasties, and was destroyed by the war at the end of the Ming Dynasty.
Wenshu Yuan Monastery is a Buddhist holy place that integrates the sacred relics of Zen forest, ancient gardens, pilgrimages, sightseeing and religious study.
Next, you will take a meaningful visit to Chengdu Museum which is a modern, though-out and informative museum. There are nearly 200,000 pieces of collections crossing a time span from the Neolithic period to the Republic of China. Besides, there is an interesting puppet museum on the fifth floor and a cozy coffee shop where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the palatial Tianfu Square with the shape of Chinese Eight Tri-grams.
Your Chengdu tour is now about to end. The rest of the day is free for you until be escorted to catch the flight/train to leave Chengdu.
