This morning visit the world famous Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. Tiananmen Square is the centre of Beijing and the symbol of China. It is the largest city square in the world, covering an area of 440,000 square metres and can accommodate 1 million people. Walking in the Tiananmen Square, you will see the Forbidden city. At noon, you are free to enjoy your hungry lunch at a local restaurant of your choice. In the afternoon, visit the Temple of Heaven, formerly known as the Temple of Heaven and Earth, is located on the east side of Yongdingmen Street in Dongcheng District, Beijing. It was the place for the emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties to worship heaven, pray for grain and rain. It is the largest remaining ancient sacrificial complex in China.
After lunch, proceed to the Temple of Heaven (2 hours), formerly known as the Temple of Heaven and Earth, is located on the east side of Yongdingmen Street in Dongcheng District, Beijing. After breakfast, you will be picked up at your hotel around 8:00. Drive to the Thirteen Ming Tombs. The Ming 13 Tombs, a national scenic spot, is located at the southern foot of Tianshoushan Mountain in Changping District, 50 kilometres north of Beijing, and is the mausoleum complex of the thirteen emperors of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), which is characterised by a grand scale, a complete system and a relatively complete preservation. The area has a beautiful natural landscape and an abundance of cultural relics and monuments.
After Chinese lunch, proceed to Mutianyu Great Wall. The Mutianyu Great Wall is connected to the Juyongguan Great Wall in the west and the Gubeikou Great Wall in the east, which has been the military stronghold guarding Beijing since ancient times, and is known as the "Dangerous Ridge Pass".
Finally, we will transfer you back to your hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Shichahai Area (2.5 hours), a national 4A-level tourist attraction, is located in Xicheng District, the centre of Beijing, adjacent to the central axis of the city. With a water area of 336,000 square metres, Shichahai is the largest and most well-preserved piece of historical district in Beijing, and occupies a unique position in the history of the city's planning and construction.
Climb the 67-meter high two-story Drum Tower. Architecture is frozen music. The Beijing Bell and Drum Tower are like two powerful and solemn notes. The sound of the bells and drums echoes in the sky of the city, writing history with sound and carrying the echoes of the city's time over the centuries.
The history of Beijing Bell and Drum Towers is a silhouette of the city's history, and in the course of history, the bustling commerce and folklore around these two tall buildings have left warm and intimate memories for the city's residents.
After lunch, we will head to the Olympic Park to see the overall look of the Bird's Nest and the Water Cube from a distance. Then, proceed to Beijing South Station for a 5-hour high-speed train ride to Shanghai. Our English-speaking guide will be here to greet you and accompany you to our pre-booked hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure.

Begin with a visit to the Shanghai Museum. The exhibition area is 12000 square meters, the first floor is the ancient Chinese bronze Hall, the ancient Chinese sculpture hall and the exhibition hall; The second floor is the ancient Chinese ceramics Hall, the temporary ceramic hall and the exhibition hall.
Then continue with a visit to the pedestrian-only Nanjing Pedestrian Street, a bustling street for walking, before heading to the Bund, one of Shanghai's most famous waterfront areas and architectural icons.
Today you can enjoy lunch at a nearby restaurant of your choice. After lunch, take a one-hour cruise on the Huangpu River. You will start with a cruise on the Hangpu River, along the skyscrapers and the Bund, after which you will be transferred back to your hotel.

After breakfast, visit Yuyuan Garden - Yu Garden was originally a private garden in the Ming Dynasty, which was built in the Ming Dynasty and has a history of more than 400 years as of 2015. Zhujiajiao Ancient Town is located in Qingpu District of Shanghai, is one of the four famous historical and cultural towns in Shanghai, known as the "pearl of Jiangnan".
