Explore Beijing from the world’s largest public square, Tiananmen Square. It is one of the largest city squares in the world, located in the centre of Beijing, and is one of the symbols of China. The square is vast and often hosts a variety of grand events and celebrations, such as the annual flag-raising ceremony for National Day.Walk to the Forbidden City from Tiananmen Square. It was the imperial palace of China during the Ming and Qing dynasties and is located on the central axis in the centre of Beijing,learning the legendary story of the emperors and how the royal family lived there.
In the afternoon, we will Temple of Heaven,another famous scenic spot in Beijing, which was used to hold a memorial ceremony for the God in Winter Solstice Festival and to pray for harvest in the first month of the lunar year by the emperors in Ming and Qing dynasties.rchitectures, where the emperors worshiped the heavens in hopes of good harvests.
Then we move to a less commercial Hutong nearby. A short walking (around 30mins) along the authentic Hutong will give you a deep impression of the local residents’ live.It is a kind of auspicious patterns used widely as decoration in Chinese people's daily life.You can taste some unique local snacks under the recommendation of your guide. Our guide will meet you up at the hotel lobby and start a trip to explore Yangshan Deep-water Port.After about 1.5 hours driving, we will firstly arrive to the Donghai Bridge - the first sea-crossing bridge in the China. Keep driving for about 30 minutes, then get to the highlight of this day - Yangshan Deep-water Port. The East China Sea Bridge has a unique and spectacular design, with pedestrian walkways and cycle paths on the bridge deck for pedestrians and cycling tourists to enjoy the coastal views.From now, we will have a short hiking trip in the Yangshan scenic area including Shilong Part, Dazhitou Part, and Xiaoyanjiao Part. With about 1 hour sightseeing, get to the peak of the hill in the scenic area and have a grand view of the Donghai Bridge and Yangshan Deep-water Port.
