Today we start to explore this city treasure by a visit to Tian'anmen Square, the world's largest city center square, the locality of numerous major political and historical events. It is the witness of Chinese development. You will also be able to have a photo stop at The National Centre for the Performing Arts, formerly known as the National Grand Theatre, and colloquially described as The Egg.
Afterwards, a few walk to Forbidden City, the world's existing largest and most complete ancient wooden structure buildings. This morning you will be taken to Mutianyu Great Wall to experience at first hand the wonder of the Great Wall. The round-trip cable car will be arranged. Standing on the wall and looking at it stretching up and down into boundless distance is an exciting experience and will leave you a life-long memory. Afterwards, we visit the famous National Museum of China, one of the largest museums in the world, playing an important role in displaying systematically Chinese culture, cultivating national spirit, leading the development of the cultural relics and museum field. The number of collections in the museum is more than 120 million pieces, being the richest museums with the largest number of collections. There are a total of 48 exhibition halls and there are exhibitions showing the collections and Chinese culture often. It is closed on Monday.

You will be met at your hotel lobby and start to discover this beautiful city.Set off for Longsheng, drive up and down along the mountainous road and it will takes about 2 hours to reach the entrance of Longji Terraces Scenic Area. With trekking for a while, we could see the stunning Longji Terraces. More than 700 years, the brave and smart local residents developed and built the paddies into hillsides surrounding their villages. With such a long history, the area is still being used for growing premium quality rice by Yao and Zhuang villagers. The rice terraces are built into the hillsides and look like great steps cut into the slopes as they wind around the mountainsides, which becomes a great natural view for tourists from all over the world.
Lunch will be arranged at local restaurant in the minority village. You may have chance to try the local food like bamboo rice and so on.You will have free time to explore the minority villages and also walk into the rice terraces to take some good pictures. You will have chance to see locals working in the fields, childrens playing in the village as well as women in national costume weaving or doing needle works under the roof, ect.Be transferred back to your hotel. Then we move to a less commercial Hutong nearby. A short walking (around 30mins) along the authentic Hutong will give you a deep impression of the local residents’ live.
